A photograph of an outdoor temple-pavilion ritual at an open courtyard. A bald young priest in white dhoti with an orange shawl stands at left holding a silver plate of offerings. In the centre, a man with long dark hair wears an orange robe and a white garland of flowers and a red garland, and reaches toward a small silver vessel on a stand. Behind him, a man in white dhoti and shirt with a flower garland stands near a woman in a white sari, and a man in white with an orange-and-red garland kneels before a woman in a red sari and orange garment at the lower edge. Golden deity murtis stand at upper left, and a colourful striped pillar with floral patterns stands at right. Stone pillars and a red cloth hang from the pavilion roof, with banana leaves and marigold garlands overhead. Five to six people are visible. A covered open-sided pavilion with a corrugated metal roof holds a ritual gathering. Rows of devotees stand with palms pressed together in namaskar, many dressed in white dhotis and shirts, while several women wear white saris with gold borders and others wear orange shawls or saffron garments. Low square brick fire pits or platforms with brass vessels, plates of offerings and marigold and jasmine garlands sit on the mat-covered floor. A decorated kalasha-style vessel and strings of yellow flowers hang along the back, with palm trees visible beyond the open side. No single figure is identifiable as a presiding teacher in this frame.

Outdoor temple courtyard scene beside a shrine with a deity murti decorated with marigold garlands and a gold-framed altar. A bearded man in a saffron-orange robe stands on the left holding a small brass vessel, raising one hand toward a younger man in a white kurta who stands with palms pressed together. Behind them, men in white kurtas and garlands, a man in dark clothes and a woman in a patterned shawl stand in a line, some holding a wrapped bundle. A red gate and a crowd of onlookers in white appear in the background. Appearance-based label: the saffron-robed bearded man is a person candidate, identified by his orange robe and full beard; the identification is uncertain.
