Home altar set into a brick fireplace mantel with a black hearth. On the mantel stand framed devotional prints: on the left, a large cutout-style print of a smiling man in a red turban, rudraksha malas and flower garlands holding a pink flower; in the centre, a print of a young man in saffron robes with a white beaded garland and a raised hand, against a tree-root backdrop; on the right, a print of blue-faced Shiva with a trident and a goddess in red and gold ornaments. Small framed photos, a kumkum-marked stone and offerings sit on the mantel. Inside the hearth, brass bells hang from a stand, gold-coloured deity figurines flank a bed of rose and petal offerings, and a brass Venkateswara-style figure stands at the back.
