The man on the right, with long swept-back dark hair, a full beard, a tilak on his forehead, a rudraksha mala and a red-brown saffron-toned wrap, presses his right hand to the forehead of the man on the left. That man is bare-chested, wears an orange cloth over his shoulder and a dark rudraksha mala, and smiles with his palm raised near his own cheek. The seated figure on the right rests on a leopard-print cushion and holds a wooden stick or pen in his left hand. Two people are visible, performing an initiation-style blessing.

A seated man with long dreadlocked hair piled on his head, a red tilak on his forehead and rudraksha malas across his chest and arms, smiles with eyes closed while resting his hand on the bald head of a kneeling man. He wears saffron-orange robes and sits on a leopard-print cushion before an ornate silver throne with carved figures. To the left, an attendant in white markings and saffron cloth steadies the kneeling devotee, whose bare back carries a white sacred thread. The setting suggests darshan or blessing during a satsang.
