December 02 20162016-12-02December 02 20162016-12-02A photograph of a temple courtyard with a man seated on an ornate gold-and-red throne, wearing a saffron-orange robe, a rudraksha mala and long dark hair swept back. He sits with hands resting in his lap while people in front of him perform worship. Several devotees kneel or sit on the floor around a low gold table holding brass plates, fruit and offering trays, and a woman holds incense sticks with smoke rising. One man in white dhoti and shawl with a bare upper body holds a brass vessel. Women in cream, orange, and yellow-green saris and a young woman with a blue hair tie sit among them. Behind the throne, a deity murti is adorned with yellow and purple garlands, and brass lamps stand on the altar. The walls behind are painted orange with red and white stripes, and a red curtain hangs at the side. Probable Swamiji is seated on the throne, identified by the saffron robe, rudraksha mala and long swept-back hair.2010-10-31 +2 copiesDecember 02 20162016-12-02December 02 20162016-12-02A seated man in saffron-orange robes sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, wearing a rudraksha-style beaded necklace with a gold ceremonial pendant and a red tilak on his forehead, hands folded in his lap. Center, a man with long dark hair and a beard wears an orange-saffron robe, a rudraksha-style beaded mala and a long ceremonial gold-toned necklace, seated on a red and white throne. To his left, a woman in a white outfit with a white flower garland holds papers and a pen. To his right, an older man in glasses, a rust-red kurta and white trousers, with a white flower garland, gestures with an open hand while speaking into a microphone. At far right, a man in orange with a white garland sits on a gold throne. Behind them, a large floral arch of red, yellow, green and white blooms frames a painted portrait of a smiling figure in a red turban and pink garment holding a trident. A bottled water, a cup and an orange cloth sit on a table in front.
