February 05 20102010-02-05February 05 20102010-02-05Indoor photo in a marble-floored hall with white pillars and a wall of dusk-blue windows. A saffron-robed sannyasi with a shaved head, orange garment wrapped around the body, stands in the centre of a group while another saffron-clad monastic in an orange hooded top faces them. A figure in a longer orange shawl with long dark hair stands beside them, possibly a person candidate by long hair and saffron robes but appearance is uncertain. Around them, devotees in white and cream saris, a teal kurta, a white shirt and a grey shirt watch and stand in a loose circle, while a boy in a light blue shirt stands nearby. Small brass lamps and a decorated ritual corner appear at the left edge.2010-02-05February 05 20102010-02-05Photograph in a marble-floored temple hall at night, with white pillars and a decorative framed deity image on a small altar at left. Three people in saffron-orange clothing stand in a row: a man in the centre wears a long orange robe and cloth draped over his shoulder, a woman at right wears an orange sari with maroon border and glasses, and a partly visible person in orange stands at left. Another figure in white stands at the far edge. Brass vessels and a lit oil lamp sit near the altar, and a striped decorative hanging is visible on a pillar.2010-02-03February 05 20102010-02-05September 14 20092009-09-14A photograph inside a bright, modern room with cream walls, a dark stone platform, and a white marble floor. A smiling man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead walks forward in a sleeveless saffron-orange robe, with his hand extended. Beside him, a younger man in white dhoti and shirt wears an orange shawl and a rudraksha-style mala. On the right, a woman in a cream and red-bordered sari presses her palms together in greeting. Behind them, two older men in white dhotis stand in a doorway, and a wooden arched doorway opens onto a glass-roofed courtyard. Decor includes a wooden sculpture, a brass lotus bowl, and a silver vase.2010-02-16A photograph of three men standing in a white stone temple pavilion with carved pillars and a dark polished floor. On the right, a man with long dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead wears a bright saffron-yellow robe and places his right hand on his chest. On the left, a man in an orange robe stands with arms folded. In the centre, a man in a white dhoti and white shirt with a red shawl holds a small notepad. Behind them, striped red, blue and yellow decorative pillars frame a shrine with a deity murti and green foliage. The right-hand man's ascetic presentation (long hair, tilak, saffron robe) is a cue for a possible identification, but the image is not decisive, so he is described by role only.2010-02-04May 23 20062006-05-23Indoor photo in a dimly lit hall with white walls, a wooden doorway and a tiled floor with brown and cream patterns. A man in orange robes and an orange turban, with a rudraksha mala, stands at left with hands joined and speaks with a bare-headed man in a white dhoti and orange shawl. At centre, a man in an orange robe and orange turban stands with palms pressed together in greeting. Two men stand at right: one in an orange robe, one in white with a dhoti. A brass vessel sits on a dark side table, and a plastic chair is at left. Six people are visible.2007-02-20A central figure in a saffron-orange robe and a multicoloured flower garland with white blooms, with a small red mark on the forehead, walks through a doorway and raises one hand in greeting. Behind him an orange-clad attendant and others in orange and white stand near an open doorway where a ceremonial umbrella and a procession are visible. To the left a woman in a cream sari with yellow shawl and a young girl in cream sari with orange-red border stand nearby. On the right, men and women in white kurta-style clothes with rudraksha-type beads and yellow shawls observe, and a man in a white kurta stands near a red chair.
