Leading the procession on the left, a man in orange robes with a trident (trishul) in hand and a tilak on his forehead. Center, a figure in red-orange robes wearing a red shawl, a garland of orange flowers and gold necklace, holding a pink flower, appears to be the central figure, though an identity cannot be confirmed from appearance. Around them are devotees: a woman in a maroon sari, a man in white dhoti with bare chest and rudraksha mala beside an older bearded man, and several people in orange and yellow clothing. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti walks at the right foreground. Wet stone floor and carved pillars frame the scene; a blue sign with text is on the right wall.2009-07-13May 08 20122012-05-08A photograph inside a stone temple corridor with large dark stone guardian sculptures on either side, each draped in white cloth with red and gold borders. Devotees stand in a crowd on the foreground, several in white shirts and striped shirts. In the middle distance, a line of priests in saffron and red robes walks down the passage toward a lit shrine area, one in the centre wearing a red garment and an orange shawl with a bead necklace, another bald-headed figure in orange. A woman in a red sari with a long braid stands at the left, and yellow metal railings guide the procession.2012-05-09 +1 copiesNight photograph at a temple gateway with a grey stone entrance and open green-and-yellow doors leading into a lit inner hall. A central figure in a deep maroon robe wears a large yellow-and-orange marigold garland and stands in the middle of a group. Around him, devotees in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas walk alongside, one in an orange dhoti with white body markings holds a brass or metal ritual object, and women in saris and a man in a white shirt stand nearby. Children at left watch and gesture. The group is walking into the temple for a procession, with a red-and-white lit doorway and a sign board above the entrance.2017-02-07 +1 copiesApril 05 20122012-04-05May 20 20122012-05-20 +1 copiesNight procession at a temple gateway with a stone entrance, tiled floor and a lit shrine visible inside. A central figure in a reddish-brown robe wears a long white and yellow flower garland and is walked through the doorway. Around him, several men and women in saffron-orange dhotis and garlands carry objects, one bare-chested man wears a sacred white ash marking and orange dhoti and folds his hands, and a woman in a white sari stands nearby. Children watch at left, and a foreign woman in orange with a garland stands at right. The scene appears to be a ritual welcome or procession. Whether the garlanded robed figure is a person cannot be confirmed from appearance alone.2017-02-07
