A large indoor hall filled with hundreds of seated men in white shirts and white dhotis, sitting cross-legged on striped mats in rows across the floor and a raised stage area. Many have their hands pressed together in namaskar or are seated in quiet attention. Above, a balcony is crowded with spectators holding up banners and placards. A sound mixing console and speakers sit at the front right, and a red and white banner hangs on the far wall. Ceiling fans and bright lights line the white hall.2009-01-25A large indoor hall filled with a dense crowd of seated devotees, most dressed in white shirts and white clothing, many with hands pressed together in namaste or applauding. Mats and cushions cover the floor. People also line a balcony along the top left and a raised platform at the back. A tripod-mounted video camera stands near the centre, and a sound mixing console sits in the lower right foreground. A banner hangs on the back wall, partly legible. The scene conveys a satsang or discourse gathering, with the speaker not clearly visible in this view.2009-01-25January 25 20092009-01-25Wide photograph of a large indoor hall with a crowd of several hundred seated devotees on red floor mats, mostly men in white shirts and white dhotis, some wearing rudraksha malas and identity lanyards. A cameraman on a tripod stands at the centre-right beside a figure in an orange-saffron robe, who appears to be a sannyasi or organiser near the front of the hall. Ceiling fans, green and white decorative panels, strings of lights and loudspeakers are visible, with a few water bottles placed on the floor in front of the seated crowd.2008-08-01Photo 11731150 +1 copiesJuly 30 20082008-07-30 +1 copiesJuly 22 20132013-07-22August 01 20082008-08-01January 28 20092009-01-28November 02 20142014-11-02A large indoor hall with white walls, arched balconies and ceiling fans holds a dense seated crowd of devotees dressed in white shirts and white dhotis, many with palms pressed together in prayer. They sit on striped red-and-green mats on the floor. Upper balconies are lined with people, some holding banners and placards. At the right, a sound mixing console and speaker sit near the stage area, and a camera on a tripod films the gathering. The atmosphere suggests a satsang or discourse with the crowd in devotional posture.2009-01-25July 30 20082008-07-30 +1 copies
