December 19 20062006-12-19A construction site at a temple compound with a partially built concrete block wall with crenellated tops. Several men work on the ground in front of it: two monastics in saffron-orange robes and shawls bend over a low work area with bowls and rubble, a man in a blue and white checked shirt and beige trousers stands nearby, another man in a white shirt and dhoti gestures with an arm raised, a man in a red-and-pink checked shirt watches, and a man in grey shirt and checked lungi stands at right. Piles of gravel and dirt lie on the ground, a bamboo pole rises beside the wall, and palm and leafy trees stand behind.2006-12-12A photograph of an outdoor construction site under a clear pale sky. Grey concrete block walls are being built in rows around a white single-storey building with corrugated roofing and several doorways. Stacks of grey concrete blocks sit on the sandy red earth in the foreground, and a pile of sand lies near the left wall. Tall coconut palms and dense green trees stand behind the buildings. A blue cloth lies on the ground at lower left. No people are visible.2007-05-19Construction site with unfinished grey concrete block walls forming an open courtyard layout, bare sandy ground with a patch of wet concrete, and a pile of dark earth at lower left. A man in a blue checked shirt and shorts with a towel on his head stands holding a shovel beside a bucket. Several workers in white dhotis and shirts stand in the background near a row of tall trees under a hazy sky. A red roofed structure sits at the right edge.2006-12-19A construction site on bare red earth where workers are building a block wall between tall dark concrete columns. Stacks of grey cinder blocks sit in the foreground, one wrapped with a blue and red measuring tape. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands at right, looking up and holding a vertical rod, while other workers in checked lungis, a pink striped lungi and a pink shirt lay blocks or carry material. A red tipper truck and a few young trees stand in the background, with a white boundary wall on the horizon. A large tree shades the left edge.2006-12-12Photograph of an outdoor construction site under a clear blue sky with scattered clouds. In the foreground, a low wall of grey concrete blocks runs diagonally across bare, churned earth, and a concrete footing with protruding rebar stands at the lower right. Behind, partially built walls of grey concrete blocks rise in sections, with a metal scaffold frame and a ladder leaning against them. Dense green trees and palm trees form the background. No people are visible. +1 copiesA photograph of a dry, reddish-brown cleared earth site with scattered rocks and sparse shrubs. Partially built walls of pale grey concrete blocks rise in the background, with a heap of red soil and a pile of gravel beside them. Several figures stand near the walls: a person in an orange garment at the centre and a few people in white clothing around them, indicating a construction or foundation site. Tall thin trees and bushes line the horizon under a pale sky.2006-11-23A construction site on red-brown dirt ground showing a partially built concrete-block wall with exposed vertical reinforcing rods rising from its top. Mounds of excavated soil and scattered stones sit along the base. Behind the wall, a few seated people in light clothing are visible on the wall's far side, with a small group further back. Palm trees, a low hill, utility wires and a single-storey building lie in the distance under a pale blue sky with clouds.April 10 20082008-04-10December 20 20062006-12-20A photograph of a construction site on bare dirt ground. In the foreground a man in a white shirt, white dhoti and a red-and-white striped head cloth stands beside a low wall of grey concrete blocks, with a trowel resting on the cement top course. Behind him another worker in a light shirt lays blocks on a taller wall of grey concrete blocks, and a figure in a red shirt stands near a sand pile at right. Steel reinforcement rods rise at the centre, and a red car, a blue vehicle and an auto-rickshaw are parked in the background among trees and low buildings.2008-05-142005 - View-of-Ananda-Sabha-Construction
