Several people stand waist-deep in the water beside a white-tiled wall with pink pillars and a pink pillar-shaped shrine. A man on the left wears an orange cloth and a mala, and others wear wet, dark or saffron clothing and perform bathing rites. Along the top edge, a crowd of about twenty onlookers in green, white and striped shirts and saris watches from behind the wall. A utility pole and a multi-storey building appear in the background under a clear sky.2018-04-29Eight men stand in a close group in front of a weathered stone wall and a doorway with a lit lamp inside. Center, a man with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange robe and a heavy gold-coloured necklace of beads and pendant, hands clasped. Around him, men wear bare-chested white dhotis with cloth wraps; several have sacred thread or necklaces, and one wears gold-framed glasses and a wristwatch. The clustered arrangement and night-time lighting suggest a posed group photograph at a temple entrance. Swamiji (probable) is the central figure in the saffron robe with long hair and a gold ornamental necklace.2006-11-09A photograph of a group of men standing in a stone-walled corridor beside a doorway with an ornate decorated frame. A central figure in an orange-saffron robe and a long gold-beaded necklace with a large pendant stands between men bare-chested and wearing white dhotis with red borders, several with rudraksha malas. The man in orange has long, swept-back hair and appears to be the focal figure of the group, with the others standing respectfully around him. The setting looks like an ancient palace or temple passage with worn granite blocks.2006-11-10January 16 20182018-01-16October 04 20142014-10-04A photograph of a crowd bathing in seawater at a temple tank or sea-steps area, with pink-painted concrete posts and steel railings in the foreground. Several men stand and wade waist-deep in the water, some bare-chested, some in white dhotis with orange or saffron cloths; one figure in the center wears an orange garment and holds clasped hands. Onlookers stand on a white-tiled wall above, including a man in a white shirt and an elderly man in white. A small pink shrine-like structure rises behind the railing. No figure can be confidently identified as a person from appearance, so the role is described as devotee.2018-04-29A photograph of a group of men standing in front of a stone temple doorway with a lit interior beyond. Most are bare-chested and wear white dhotis, some with sacred threads across their chests. The central figure stands out in a saffron-orange robe with a long gold necklace of beads and a pendant; he has a tilak mark on his forehead and his hands are folded in front of him. Flanking men in white dhotis stand on both sides, several with hands clasped. The rough, weathered stone wall and dim doorway suggest a temple setting, and the scene reads as a group portrait at the temple entrance.2006-11-09
