A woman in a green and navy blouse bends over a shrine, holding a brass bell in one hand and a lit lamp in the other, offering aarti before a black stone deity murti of Venkateshwara with a tilak, dressed in a pink silk garment and draped in white and red flower garlands. A smaller brass or metal image sits in front, surrounded by marigolds, rose petals, a striped cloth, small oil lamps and brass bowls with offerings. Gold-framed arch and grey marble walls frame the shrine, indicating a puja in progress.

A woman in a royal blue silk saree sits cross-legged at the left, raising a lit oil lamp toward a black stone deity murti at the centre of a shrine. The murti stands in a golden arched niche, draped in a purple and gold silk cloth, adorned with a jewelled crown, a large gold pendant and garlands of yellow marigolds and red flowers, with green leaf festoons framing the arch. Brass lamps with lit wicks, a brass elephant figure, plates of flowers, betel leaves, kumkum and bowls of offerings surround the murti on a yellow cloth. A microphone stand stands beside her. The floor has a yellow border painted with red flowers and white and red dots. This appears to be a puja or aarti in a temple shrine.
