March 30 20122012-03-30A seated figure in a saffron-orange robe over a red top sits on an ornate gilded throne with red patterned cushions, a red bindi on the forehead and long dark hair. A man in a white t-shirt and a beaded necklace bends forward with his hands near the seated figure's lap, apparently in an act of reverence. Behind them are a green leafy backdrop and a floral arrangement of purple orchids, pink and white flowers. A Swamiji (probable) label applies based on the saffron robe, long swept-back hair, and the gilded throne setting, so the seated figure is marked as a probable in-person candidate.2008-10-19A seated man in an orange turban, orange shawl with gold border, and a red and white garland of flowers with black rudraksha beads smiles while a man in a white shirt sits in front of him with palms pressed together in greeting. Behind them stands a backdrop of red fairy lights, yellow marigold strands and white and red flowers, with a silver ceremonial staff at left and a striped throne cushion at right. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure in orange turban, orange shawl, rudraksha mala and gold necklace matches the page's claim and the throne setting.2012-03-30October 25 20152015-10-25March 30 20122012-03-30Photograph of a seated figure in an orange-saffron turban and orange robe, wearing a red and white beaded garland, gold bangles and a gold necklace, with a vertical white forehead mark. He holds a silver staff or rod and raises a dark cord, while a young man in a light blue t-shirt leans in from the right, offering or receiving a folded paper slip. Behind them stand a gold ornate throne, red velvet cushion, green leafy plants and a red drape, with oranges visible in the lower foreground. The seated figure's appearance (orange turban, ornate garland and gold jewellery) is a probable match for a person, but the identification is uncertain.2015-04-26A seated figure in an orange-red turban, saffron-orange robe with yellow edging, and a heavy beaded rudraksha-style mala necklace places one hand on the forehead of a standing man in a white shirt and orange-patterned shawl. The man stands with palms pressed together in namaste, eyes closed, receiving blessing. Red drapes and a gold carved throne-like chair form the backdrop, with fruit visible on a gold tray at lower left. Probable Swamiji (appearance-based label): the seated figure shows a turban, saffron robe and ornate beaded mala, and is shown giving blessing (a sign of darshan) to a devotee.2015-10-25A seated man in orange saffron robes and an orange turban smiles while placing an orange cloth over the head of a kneeling woman in a glossy orange sari. He wears a white and red flower garland and a long gold-toned necklace with beads. Behind him is a white flower decoration and an ornate gold-framed backdrop with a deity relief. The scene appears to be a devotional ceremony with a saffron-robed central figure blessing a devotee.2008-07-17A photograph of a ceremony on a gilded throne with red cushions. A seated figure with long dark hair, wearing an orange robe with green-and-gold border, white flower garlands, rudraksha beads and a red tilak, places his right hand over a brass tray of yellow turmeric or rice held by a kneeling attendant. The attendant wears an orange shawl with maroon border, glasses and a matching orange head covering. A microphone stands beside them against a white wall with red lotus scroll painting. Another orange-clad figure is partly visible at the upper left. The seated figure is a probable Swamiji by appearance, with long hair, rudraksha malas and ceremonial garlands, presiding over the ritual on the throne.2009-12-26A photograph of a seated man in a saffron-orange turban, layered orange-and-gold robes and a thick beaded rudraksha-style mala with a gold-tone pendant, placing his right hand on the forehead of a kneeling man in white kurta with an orange scarf. The kneeling man has palms pressed together in namaskar. Behind them stand golden ornate throne elements and red drapery, with a bowl of apples and a dark kalasha-like vessel on the floor. The seated figure has distinctive long dark hair under the turban and ornate ceremonial adornments, a person candidate in a blessing role.2015-10-25A seated man in an orange-red turban, orange-yellow robe and layered brown rudraksha malas with a gold ornament raises his right hand to touch the forehead of a kneeling man in a white t-shirt and orange patterned scarf, who sits with palms pressed together in anjali. A golden ornate throne with a red cushion and a golden pillar with lamp light stand behind them, with red drapery in the background. The scene reads as a blessing or darshan moment. The seated figure has distinctive turban, malas and ceremonial gold adornments consistent with a person, seated in a blessing role.2015-10-25March 30 20122012-03-30
