The brass kalasha holds water and is topped with a coconut wrapped in a white flower garland and a pink gerbera, with green leaves at the mouth. Yellow and dark red marigold and rose garlands hang on either side, and loose petals sit on a silver tray in front. The scene suggests an abhishekam or puja setting, with no physical people fully visible apart from the lower body and lap of the seated figure.2009-12-24A photograph of an abhishekam being performed on a brass deity murti with a conical crown. A hand holds a silver vessel with a wire-wrapped pattern, pouring water over the murti's face and head. In the blurred background at right, a smiling figure with long dark hair wears an orange-saffron garment and a thick red and yellow flower garland, seated among white and red floral decorations. Orange walls frame the scene. Only the pouring hand and the seated figure are visible as people.2012-01-08
