December 12 20092009-12-12December 12 20092009-12-12A photograph of a figure in a sleeveless saffron-orange robe with long dark hair tied back in a low knot, placing his right hand on the crown of a man's head. The recipient, in a white shirt with a dark tie, has eyes lowered and hands held together in a respectful gesture. Blurred people in white and yellow clothing stand in the background of an indoor hall with pale pink walls and windows. The figure in orange has a distinctive long swept hair and saffron clothing; his identity is not established by appearance alone, so he is described by role as the giver of blessing.2009-12-15A photograph of a blessing at an indoor evening event. A man in orange robes with long dark hair pulled back places his right hand on the crown of a man in a white shirt, whose eyes are closed and palms are pressed together at his forehead. A woman with hair tied back in a white top and a second man in a striped white shirt with folded hands stand close by, with a crowd and bright stage lights behind them. The robed figure has a long bare arm and an orange cloth, and appears to be Swamiji (probable) based on the orange robes and long hair, while the blessing is given to a devotee.2010-02-14A person in an orange saffron sleeveless top and draped orange wrap, with long dark hair, places one palm on the forehead of a man in a navy striped sweater who has his hands raised in front of him, palms open. The man wears a name badge on a lanyard. Behind them, blurred figures in white clothing stand in a room with a pink wall, and a camera tripod is visible at right. The gesture suggests a blessing or healing touch.2011-12-02A photograph of a close, intimate moment on a stage at night. A figure in orange robes with long dark curly hair tied back in a bun presses one hand onto the forehead of a man with short dark curly hair and a moustache, who has his eyes closed and a pained, absorbed expression. The man wears an orange top over a dark striped shirt. At the left edge, a man in a white garment with a yellow shawl and a thin cord stands partly visible. Behind them is a dark stage backdrop with stage lighting.2009-11-17 +1 copiesFebruary 25 20132013-02-25July 20 20102010-07-20A seated man in an orange sleeveless top and red-striped orange cloth, with long dark hair swept back, leans forward to place his hand on the head of a man in a white collared shirt who bows low, his head bent. The seated figure has a distinctive long swept-back hair style and orange garments, a possible a person cue, though his face is not visible enough to confirm. Two standing men watch: one in a white shirt behind, another in an orange garment at right. A red velvet-covered seat and a gold-edged frame appear at right, in a dimly lit hall with plastered walls and a pillar. Blessing or darshan interaction.2009-12-12Indoor darshan scene in a temple-like hall. A man with long, swept-back black hair wearing a loose orange sleeveless saffron garment places both hands on the head of a man in a pink collared shirt who stands with eyes closed and palms pressed together in namaskar. Behind them a woman in a white sari with a red-bordered edge kneels, a red kumkum mark on her forehead and a white flower garland in her hair; a smiling woman in white stands further back, with a vertical panel and bright decor in the background. Appearance-based probable candidate Swamiji (probable) is the saffron-clad man giving blessing, matching long hair and saffron clothing cues.2010-06-30A photograph of a seated man in a white-and-blue striped collared shirt receiving a blessing. A standing figure in an orange turban, orange shawl and long dark hair places a hand on the man's forehead. The blessing figure's bare shoulder and upper body are wrapped in orange cloth. Behind them, a man in white clothing and several onlookers in shirts stand near an orange-draped platform and a metal railing in a hall. A red-and-gold tray sits at the right edge. The blessing figure has long swept hair, an orange turban, orange clothing and bare-chested adornment cues, consistent with a person giving a blessing in person; identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2010-07-11July 07 20102010-07-07
