A woman in white with a wooden bead mala sits between them, smiling. Behind them, an orange-robed bearded sadhu sits on a chair and a man in white sits on a floor mat in a hall with flower arrangements, wooden doors and a gong. a person is the seated man in orange with long swept-back hair, who is receiving the devotee in a satsang-style setting.2006-03-06April 24 20062006-04-24A photograph of an indoor initiation session in a wooden-panelled room. A long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes stands at right, raising a hand to the forehead of a seated man with short hair and a white jacket with blue stripes, who wears a brown beaded mala. Behind them a small altar table holds white and pink flowers, a purple floral arrangement, and a small metal vessel. A partially visible person in white sits at left, and a blue framed painting hangs on the wall.2006-04-24A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a headset microphone on a carved wooden throne with a gold-trimmed back and red cushions, smiling as he places a hand on the head of a kneeling man in a cream linen kurta. A woman in a white sari with an orange border stands at right holding a silver tray of white offerings. Flower arrangements of white chrysanthemums and orange blooms sit beside the throne on a patterned carpet, and a gilded animal figure is in the foreground. The seated man is a person by his saffron clothing, rudraksha mala and throne, the kneeling devotee receives his blessing, and the setting is a hotel-style hall with a stone wall and potted plants.2012-12-16A photograph of a long-haired man in an orange-red robe wearing a thick white flower garland with red rudraksha-style beads, seated in front of a white curved backdrop. A man in a white-and-brown striped shirt raises his hand over the seated man's head in a blessing gesture, while a woman with dark hair and a silver hair ornament, dressed in white with a gold-bordered cloth, sits in the foreground with her back to the camera. A woman with long dark hair in an orange-saffron top and shawl places her hand on the head of a man with grey hair wearing a light blue striped shirt and a rudraksha mala. Behind them a pink-draped table holds flowers and a small object, with a dark framed picture on the wall and another person in white clothing at left. The woman's long hair, saffron clothing and ornate presentation give a person cue, but she is a candidate only; the image is partly cropped and her face is not clearly visible, so identity is uncertain.2006-04-24A seated figure in an orange-saffron cloth with a white and yellow-red marigold garland and a tilak on the forehead has a hand raised toward a bent-over devotee's head, while another devotee in a white shirt and dark trousers leans in beside a woman in a maroon sari bowing with her hands near his feet. A bearded man in a white kurta and orange shawl stands behind them, and a woman in white looks on from the background. A low white-covered bench holds a bamboo tray of banknotes, a steel tumbler and a gold-tipped walking stick. The setting is an indoor hall with windows, a striped floor mat and a blue-framed table. The seated figure's distinctive long hair and saffron robes are visible cues, but the identity is uncertain from appearance.2006-12-10A photograph of a healing or blessing moment in a dim hall.
