Two women sit cross-legged on a red patterned carpet during a puja. The woman in front wears an orange silk saree, a rudraksha-style mala, and a white tilak with a red kumkum dot on her forehead, eyes closed in meditation. Brass puja vessels, a bowl of red roses, and marigold-yellow offerings lie in front of them, with more devotees seated behind.

Several women in saris sit on mats in the foreground, holding brass oil lamps (aarti lamps) over leaf-and-flower plates; one in a teal-green sari, one in an orange sari with blue blouse, one in white with a grey braid, one in cream with red border, and one in purple. Behind them, rows of seated devotees watch, and at right a figure in an orange dhoti and bare upper body stands near the edge. On the left, a row of dark stone or bronze deity murtis dressed in red and orange cloth sits on a raised platform, with brass vessels nearby. A television screen at top shows a video feed. Activities appear to be a puja or aarti offering.
