A photograph of a seated figure in a saffron-orange robe and saffron turban with a long rudraksha mala draped over the chest, holding a steel tumbler, seated on a carved wooden throne with red cushions and a red-bordered cloth, with brass ornamental pillars on either side. Around the seated figure stand about seven people: a man in white at the left edge with a red mark on his hand, women in white and red saris and a yellow sari, men in white shirts and glasses, and two children. Framed Hindu devotional paintings hang on the white wall, and a white electric fan is at the right. The room is a domestic-style interior with a doorway behind the group.

A green mat with a patterned border covers the floor. The copyright overlay reads Sri Nithyanand and Source: Nithya on the right edge.

In the centre, a seated man wears an orange robe, a white flower garland with red blossoms, and a red tilak on his forehead, raising one hand in greeting; a white cloth lies behind him.
