December 25 20172017-12-25December 25 20172017-12-25A man in an orange-brown saffron robe sits cross-legged on an ornate silver and red velvet throne on a red-draped stage. Long dark hair falls behind him, and he wears a rudraksha mala and a bead bracelet. Beside him stand a tall silver trident, a silver staff with a finial, and a silver ritual implement on a stand. Seated devotees in orange and white clothing fill the foreground and audience rows, several with hands joined in namaskar. A purple bird logo appears in the upper left corner. The scene suggests a satsang or discourse on stage.2017-12-25A man with long dreadlocked hair and a short beard sits cross-legged on an ornate silver throne with red cushions and carved floral filigree, on a red-draped stage. He wears an orange-saffron shawl over a saffron robe and is barefoot. Silver ceremonial staffs topped with a trident and ornate finials stand to his left, and a silver base with a bell-like finial rests in front. Seated devotees in orange and white clothing fill the foreground and audience, with dark red curtains behind. Swamiji (probable) is seated on the throne, identified by the saffron robe, long hair and ceremonial setting.2017-12-25December 25 20172017-12-25A man with long dark hair and a beard sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne on a raised red stage, wearing an orange-saffron draped garment over his shoulders and chest, hands resting in his lap. Flanking him are tall ornamental gold-and-pink staffs and a small decorated wooden stand with a book. Red drapes and a yellow backdrop frame the stage, and a seated audience in front, many in white and light clothing, watches. Cameras are visible at the right. The figure's appearance with long hair, saffron garments and an ornate throne matches several cues, so this is a probable Swamiji in person.2017-12-25January 06 20182018-01-06December 25 20172017-12-25A seated man in saffron-orange robes and multiple rudraksha malas sits with palms pressed together in namaskar before a large gilded throne with carved arched backrest and red cushions. Two gilded oil lamps flank the throne, and white flower petals are scattered on the floor in front of him. On the right, two shaven-headed monks in saffron, also wearing rudraksha malas, sit with hands folded, and a man in white stands near them. On the left, a woman in white sits with hands folded. A flame burns in the right foreground from a held lamp or fire, and a hanging green woven backdrop and a burlap-textured wall frame the scene. The setting is a ritual or satsang hall.2012-04-14A photograph of a man seated on an ornate gold-and-red throne on a red-draped stage at an indoor event with a large audience. He wears a rust-orange shawl over a bare chest, long dark dreadlocked hair, and bare feet. Beside the throne stand gold ceremonial staffs, one topped with a trident, and a small wooden stool with red cushion. Rows of seated devotees in orange, red and white clothing fill the foreground and background, with a large screen and gold backdrop behind the stage.2017-12-25December 25 20172017-12-25Side view of a long-haired man in a red-orange saffron wrap seated on an ornate silver throne with carved armrests and a red velvet cushion on a red-draped stage. Beside the throne stand silver ceremonial staffs topped with a trident and a decorative finial, and a silver kalasha-style pedestal. A small silver lectern is at right. Seated devotees in orange and white fill the foreground and background of a large hall with red curtains. The seated man has long dreadlocked hair, a bare upper body with white markings, and a saffron wrap, consistent with a person presentation; the image is a photograph taken at a satsang-style event.2017-12-25
