A photograph of a temple abhishekam at a large gilded deity murti with multiple raised arms, seated above a silver-toned shivalinga draped with a red and white garland of flowers. A bare-chested man with a tied-up head of hair and a beard, wearing an orange cloth and rudraksha beads, stands with his back to the camera and reaches toward the linga. Offerings of green leaves and fruit lie in the foreground, and purple and red silk cloths and a decorated white silver-and-gold ornament adorn the altar.2020-11-24A seated man with his palms pressed together in namaste sits before a shrine decorated with garlands of yellow, red, white and purple flowers. He wears a tall black ceremonial headpiece, a rudraksha mala and a gold necklace over a red garment, with white ash marks on his arms and forehead. Behind him stand two golden deity murti figures, one wearing a crown, with a tall rounded frame of flowers behind them. To the right sits a painted or bronze figure in orange cloth also garlanded. At left, a hand holds a silver lamp with several lit oil lamps, and white powder is scattered on the stone floor.2016-03-07November 24 20202020-11-24July 15 20162016-07-15A man in a saffron-brown turban with a silver brooch leans forward over a decorated deity murti, pressing his forehead to its golden crown. He wears a brown silk garment, a long pink and white flower garland, and gold bangles on his wrist. The scene appears to be a devotional darshan or padapuja at a temple setting.2017-11-11A photograph of a seated man with eyes closed at a puja, wearing a maroon-brown robe draped over the shoulders, a double-strand red and white flower garland, layered gold necklaces with a pendant, and gold armbands. He has long matted dark hair coiled high with a crescent ornament, and white ash lines with a red mark on the forehead. In front of him a silver tray holds red roses, and a brass oil lamp burns at the right edge. Behind him stands a gilded throne-like backdrop framed with yellow, red and white flowers and a gold figure. Swamiji (probable): the long matted hair, crescent crown, rudraksha-style red-and-white garland and ornate gold necklaces match the presentation of the event's guru, seated and honoured in ritual setting.2016-07-19September 04 20142014-09-04December 20 20172017-12-20January 31 20182018-01-31June 09 20172017-06-09Indoor ritual scene in a hall with white walls and fluorescent ceiling lights.
