Night procession on a sandy open ground lit by bright floodlights. Several men in white dhotis and bare-chested or saffron-robed priests walk in a line, some carrying long poles and staves. Behind them, a lit ratha/chariot with illuminated golden kalasha-shaped towers and a deity murti stands among a large crowd of devotees in white and saffron clothing. A white rope barrier runs across the frame. A man in a maroon-and-gold dhoti at left faces the procession. Strings of lights and a tent canopy frame the scene.

A large night-time outdoor gathering of men, most dressed in white dhotis and shirts, with some in orange or saffron shawls and a few with green and pink garments. Many raise hands and move in a dense, energetic crowd. Behind them a lit ornamental float or palanquin, decorated with string lights and a central deity murti, stands under bright floodlights. Behind it, a building facade is strung with coloured lights in red, green, white and orange, while a long shed roof lies to the left. The crowd fills the foreground and extends into the distance.

Many devotees in white clothes walk in a long line; several carry flaming torches, and one woman in a red-orange shawl and another in a white sari with green border walk near the front. A man in a yellow t-shirt stands at lower left, while a bald man in white robes walks at centre. Illuminated trees and a street lamp frame the scene.

Night photograph of a procession on a dark open ground, with a long line of people in white clothing and some in orange or saffron garments walking across the frame. Strings of multicoloured lights and banana plants decorate a fenced perimeter behind them. A small illuminated structure stands at the right, with people on a raised platform or float and a fire glowing near the edge. Many people are visible in the procession, and the scene is lit mainly by the decorative lights and the fire.
