A photograph of a ritual offering inside a room. A person seated on the left wears a red-orange turban with gold embroidery, a red and green flower garland, a gold bangle and a red shawl; they hold out a sweet to a younger person kneeling at right, whose palms are open to receive it. A metal bowl of round sweets sits in front. Behind them, several people in white dhoti-style clothes with gold borders stand with hands folded, some with white forehead markings, and a brass oil lamp is visible at the left edge. The seated figure has long swept-back hair and ornate clothing, matching presentation cues, but the appearance is not fully certain; the role is a devotee offering prasad during the event.2015-11-10A photograph of a ritual exchange in a hall with a red carpet and brass lamp at left.
