A shaved-headed man in saffron robes, seen from behind, holds a multi-tiered brass aarti lamp lit with flames in the left foreground of a richly painted temple hall with pink, green and blue columns. Beyond, a gold-framed portrait of a bearded man in an orange turban and saffron robe sits atop an ornate gold throne. Two painted standing dvarapala figures with crowns, gold jewellery, green sashes and raised hands flank the doorway. Several seated figures in maroon-red robes sit in the inner shrine, and brass oil lamps stand along the right side on a polished marble floor. The scene suggests an aarti or puja offering before a throne.2013-11-06A photo of a temple shrine during a puja. In the foreground a shaven-headed priest in a plum-coloured wrap, with white sacred markings on his arms, holds a tiered silver lamp with several lit flames. Behind him, two painted deity statues flank the doorway, each with four arms, crowns and orange-red dhotis with green sashes. Inside the shrine, a framed portrait of a smiling man in an orange turban and robe sits on a golden throne-like peetha, surrounded by hanging lamps. Seated saffron-robed attendants in front of the altar hold offerings and lamps. Brass lamps stand along the right wall and a small thali of offerings sits on the floor.2013-10-31 +1 copiesNovember 03 20132013-11-03June 11 20142014-06-11September 22 20132013-09-22April 08 20142014-04-08July 10 20142014-07-10June 01 20142014-06-01A photograph of a temple-style hall seen from behind a shaved-headed priest in orange-saffron robes with a red-orange shawl draped over one shoulder and white ash bands on his bare arms. On the altar, a deity murti is dressed with colourful garlands in red, yellow, green and purple. To the left, a framed portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" shows a man with an orange head covering. Painted pillars with figures flank the entrance, and a few other people in orange garments sit in the background.2013-11-13April 04 20142014-04-04June 01 20142014-06-01April 04 20142014-04-04
