He sits cross-legged on a red velvet cushioned seat in front of an ornate gold-embossed backrest. He wears a long mala of dark rudraksha beads and a red bindi on his forehead, and his right hand is raised in a gesture while he smiles. Behind him is a red and blue backdrop. The photo appears to be a discourse setting, with no other people visible.2010-08-30A man in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban stands at a carved wooden lectern with a microphone on a stand, speaking outdoors beside the sea under a clear blue sky. He wears a long rudraksha mala draped over his chest and holds the lectern with both hands. Behind him a second man in orange robes and a garland stands at the lectern's side. The lectern is decorated with red and purple artificial flower arrangements, and a green turf-like platform lies in front. Orange and white pennants with an Om-like symbol line the stage. Several men in white clothes stand at the edges. The photo is captioned with an archive credit overlay. Swamiji (probable): the speaker has long swept-back hair, an orange turban, saffron robes and a rudraksha mala, which are distinctive visible cues. He is addressing an event at a seaside rath yatra gathering.2009-01-12December 28 20082008-12-28A smiling man seated on an ornate gold throne with red velvet cushions, decorated with yellow, red, pink and white flower garlands above.
