Night-time outdoor satsang at a temple-side pandal. Large crowd of devotees sits on the ground in rows, many men in white shirts and dhotis and women in white and cream saris, with red rectangular mats or trays set before them. On a raised stage at right, a figure in saffron-orange robes with garlands and a rudraksha mala sits on a white-draped seat, appearing to address the gathering; a person figure, with long hair visible. Banana stalks and decorative poles frame the hall, and a black speaker and camera on a tripod stand at the front. Crowd is numerous but many are partly visible.

Night photograph of a crowded outdoor ritual gathering seen from behind a dense audience of seated devotees, many with heads and shoulders in silhouette. In the lit centre, decorated shrines or deity murtis stand under ornate arches with a small flame or oil lamp burning in front. A few figures in light clothing stand near the shrines, and a bright spotlight illuminates the stage area. Festive hanging garlands and paper lanterns in red and yellow decorate the canopy overhead, and a large dark cushioned seat sits at the left edge. A person in a saffron or orange garment is visible among the seated crowd, but no face can be clearly attributed to a person here.

Night outdoor satsang in Tamil Nadu: a large crowd of devotees sits on sand in front of a decorated stage hung with flower garlands, banana leaves and coloured lights. On the stage a seated robed figure in saffron-orange garments and a bead necklace is the central figure, with a white canopy and a deity murti beside him. Several people in white dhotis and shirts, and women in white saris and sarongs, sit close to the front. Small red-rimmed boxes of sand or ash are placed among the seated devotees. A video camera on a tripod is set up near the stage, and a loudspeaker stands on the left. Many devotees are seen from behind.

A dimly lit hall filled with a large seated audience, viewed from behind their heads and shoulders. Many attendees wear white clothing. At the far end, a raised stage holds a small lit figure near a microphone stand, with a shrine-like backdrop and hanging orange and patterned banners at the upper right. Ceiling lanterns and a tented canopy are visible at the top left. The room is mostly in shadow, with the crowd silhouetted against the dark floor.

Several spotlights illuminate the stage and dark sky above.

A night-time outdoor gathering on a raised stage under a canopy, lit by bright white lamps and string lights. A large crowd of several hundred people sits cross-legged on the ground in white dhotis and white garments, many with bare upper bodies, facing the stage. On the stage, figures in orange and saffron robes stand near a decorated backdrop with a painted deity murti, with what appears to be a ritual setup in front. Watchers stand along the edges of the ground near fencing. A small group of performers is visible at the stage. The scene suggests a ritual or satsang setting, with the seated assembly centered in the frame.

A large outdoor night gathering seen from behind the audience, with hundreds of people seated on the ground in white and light clothing facing a lit stage. On the stage, a central figure in white stands before a backdrop of a large painted deity image with figures in red and gold. Bright white spotlights illuminate the stage, and a purple carpet runs down the middle of the seated crowd toward the stage.
