A photograph of a crowded indoor event with a central figure in a sleeveless saffron-orange robe and a long dark braid, with a white forehead mark, smiling broadly with one arm extended outward. Around him, men in white shirts and white trousers wear orange shoulder cloths and identity badges on lanyards, several with palms pressed together in greeting. Women with dark hair in the lower foreground face away from the camera. A person in white lies prostrate on the floor behind the central figure, and a red carpet covers the ground. A caption label overlays the lower right of the frame.2008-08-02August 02 20082008-08-02A dense crowd of devotees surrounds a central figure in a sleeveless saffron-orange robe, with long dark hair and a forehead marking. Many men in white shirts and white dhotis wear orange shawls, and several have rudraksha malas; they raise their arms and smile, while women in the foreground with hair ornaments and bangles reach toward the central figure. A few people hold white and blue objects on the floor, and red and gold fabric hangs at the upper right. The central figure's appearance is consistent with the page's identification but not distinctive enough to confirm it, so the figure is described by role and left uncertain.2008-08-02Outdoor procession crowd with many devotees in white shirts and dhotis and orange shawls, several holding long wooden poles with orange flags. Centre, a man with long dark hair and a white tilak on his forehead, wearing an orange robe and a large white and red flower garland, raises one hand in greeting while others around him gesture. Background figures include a man in a white shirt with a rudraksha mala and devotees in orange. Orange flags and sunlit crowd fill the frame. Appearance-based candidate: a person, a central figure in an orange robe with garland and raised hand during a procession.2009-02-05August 02 20082008-08-02A joyful outdoor procession crowd dancing with arms raised. In the foreground, a bare-shouldered figure with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange headband, a white and orange garland, and a shawl-like orange wrap, smiling with raised arms; a person by appearance cues, though identity is uncertain. Around them, young men in white kurtas and orange shawls, one wearing a red neckerchief and rudraksha-style beads, cheer and clap. An orange flag and a tall pole are visible in the background under bright daylight.2007-12-25January 12 20092009-01-12A photograph of an outdoor festival crowd. In the centre, a smiling man wears an orange turban, an orange sleeveless robe and a thick white and red flower garland with rudraksha beads, and raises his palms in greeting. Beside him on the right, a man in white kurta, rudraksha mala and yellow shawl raises both arms. Around them devotees in white shirts and dhotis raise their hands, and orange and white bunting hangs overhead with string lights and palm fronds behind.2010-02-18A photograph of a crowd during a festival procession. In the centre, a man with long dark hair, a peacock feather fixed to a red headband, and an orange-red shawl over bare shoulders smiles broadly. He wears a white floral garland with green leaves and red flowers and a heavy gold bead necklace. Around him, devotees in white kurtas and orange shawls raise their fists and cheer. Several wear orange headbands and forehead marks, and a man on the right in white and orange lifts his arm. Swamiji (probable): the central figure's long hair, peacock-feather headband, saffron-orange wrap, rudraksha-style gold beadwork and floral garland match the cues the page describes.2007-12-25February 05 20092009-02-05Outdoor gathering at a large open ground under a grey sky, with a striped tent and trees behind. A central figure with long dark hair wears an orange-saffron robe with a gold-edged shawl and a heavy garland of golden-yellow beads, raising one hand in greeting while a crowd reaches up with raised palms. Around him, men in orange and saffron robes with rudraksha malas stand beside a man in a white shirt and black trousers with an ID lanyard, and a man in a white shirt and saffron shawl with a rudraksha mala on the lower right. The central figure has distinctive long hair, a shawl, and ornate gold-bead garland, consistent with the page's Swamiji label, so this is a probable identification from appearance cues. Many people are visible, including partially cropped figures at the edges.2010-12-29October 27 20102010-10-27
