Aerial view of a long concrete footbridge running out over a wide brown river, with a crowd of many people gathered along its length. Near the center, a decorated palanquin or ratha with a white canopy and a colourful figure is carried or positioned at the head of the group, with white-clad and saffron-robed participants around it. Rocks line the riverbanks, wooded hills rise behind, and devotees sit on the steps at the left with bags and bundles. Printed copyright and source text appears in the lower right.

A photograph of a group of devotees crossing a narrow concrete footbridge over a wide, murky river with exposed boulders. Several people in orange and saffron robes walk at the front, while others in white kurtas and white clothing follow in a line along the causeway. A dense green forested hillside rises behind the riverbank, and a blue cloth edge appears in the lower right corner.

A photograph of a group walking down a stone-paved path beside a shallow stream among green trees and shrubs. In the foreground, a woman in an orange saffron robe walks with her hair loose, followed by a man in orange and several men in white dhotis and shirts. A uniformed police officer in khaki stands to the right on the path edge. Scattered litter lies on the stone steps. Behind them, more people in white, orange and lungi-style clothing walk along the path under the trees.

A photograph of a riverside ritual on a narrow stone causeway stretching into a wide, muddy river, with forested hills behind. Near the centre, a decorated palanquin or altar with garlands and flowers is carried along the causeway by a group of people in white, saffron and orange clothing. A bare-chested man in a white dhoti stands on the steps with his back to the camera, and a man in a dark jacket stands to the right. Dozens of seated devotees line both sides of the causeway, many in white kurtas, saffron and orange saris, and a few in headscarves, with bags and backpacks at their feet. Two colourful umbrellas and a red-and-gold cloth are set out on the steps. The scene suggests a procession or ghat ceremony at the river.

Outdoor photo on a concrete riverside bridge with red metal railings, trees and hills behind. Several men in orange-saffron robes walk toward the camera. The central figure wears a long saffron garment, a rudraksha mala with large beads and a pendant, and sandals; his long dark hair is swept back, and a companion in saffron walks beside him. Behind them a man in white robes with a dark shoulder bag walks, and a seated bare-chested man with a white head wrap sits on the left. Pedestrians in grey and blue shirts pass on the right. Two of the central figures show possible presentation cues, so identity is uncertain.

A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes and a leopard-print shawl walks along a sandy riverbank toward the viewer. He wears a rudraksha-style mala necklace and carries a wooden staff. Behind him, a group of men in white kurtas and dhotis, some with orange shawls, gather near small wooden boats, and an orange umbrella is held overhead. Wooden benches line the shore, a man stands in a white shirt and trousers at left, and a boatman works on a wooden boat at right. Hazy grey sky and a tree-lined far bank complete the scene. The man in front has distinctive long swept hair, saffron robes and a leopard shawl, so he is a person candidate walking in person.

A photograph of a river shore with hazy pale sky and calm greenish-grey water. In the foreground on wet sand, a single person in an orange saffron top and rust-orange wrap bends forward, reaching down with one hand to touch the sand at the water's edge. Beside them, small pale stones are arranged on the sand in a line of heart-like shapes. Weathered stone embankments and rocks line the far bank, and a couple of people sit at the distant left shore.
