A small gilded metal figure stands on a gold pedestal in front of a shrine decorated with red and white flower garlands and orange fabric. The figure wears a maroon turban topped with a jewelled ornament, a maroon shawl over a gold-and-maroon woven dhoti, and layered necklaces set with clear stones and red accents. Its right hand is raised in a blessing gesture and its left hand rests open at its side. Scattered white petals lie on the red cloth in the foreground, and a small oil bottle sits at left. The figure is a statue, not a living person, and its face is smiling and painted. Its appearance does not match a clearly identifiable candidate, so this is a devotional statue depicted in a shrine setting.
