The teacher wears a rust-red robe with a gold border, a long gold pendant on a beaded rudraksha-style mala, and a white forehead mark; the hair is long and dark. Around him, delegates sit on red mats: many wear white or rust-red shawls, one man in white has his eyes closed in meditation, and a woman in a rust-red sari is seated near the front. Behind them stands a dark altar with draped red and gold cloth and a gilded deity murti. Men in orange and white are visible at the right, and a few heads of people in the foreground are in frame.2016-02-10 +1 copiesMarch 03 20172017-03-03Photograph of a seated ritual on an ornate brown throne with a leopard-print cushion. A figure with long swept-back dark hair, wearing an orange-brown wrap, a multi-coloured flower garland with rudraksha beads, and holding a white ceremonial rod, sits at left; the strongest cues are the long hair, ornate garland and orange clothing, so this is a probable identity. Before him, to the right, several devotees in white dhotis and orange shawls sit with hands folded in prayer, and a woman in white and orange kneels to arrange brass plates and offerings. A golden lion-form ornament and a red-and-gold shrine niche appear in the hall behind, with a projection screen at upper right. Probable satsang or puja setting with a pooja tray.2012-12-26A seated group of devotees on colourful striped mats in a hall, with many people in white dhotis and white kurtas, some in orange robes. In the centre a young man with long dark hair, a white vertical tilak on his forehead, a pendant necklace and orange draped cloth sits cross-legged and looks to the side. Beside him a younger boy with a shaved head, white tilak, beaded rudraksha necklaces and orange cloth sits near a small brass tray. In the foreground, men in white with orange-striped shawls sit with their heads bowed, one with palms pressed together in namaskar. Brass dishes and a small cup sit on the mat. No one is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance.2017-03-03A photograph of a satsang-style darshan indoors. A man with black hair in a low bun, bare-shouldered and wearing an orange-red wrap over a rudraksha mala, smiles and gestures while seated beside gilded lion-headed armrests of a golden throne. A woman with reddish-blonde hair in a white top and orange-red shawl stands before him with palms pressed together in anjali. Behind them, seated devotees in orange shawls and white clothes watch, and a silver staff rises beside the throne.2014-05-12March 12 20082008-03-12August 26 20172017-08-26A photograph of a pada puja in a hall. A man in an orange robe with a long dark rudraksha mala sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne with eyes closed and hands resting on his lap. Surrounding devotees in white ritual clothes sit on the floor with palms pressed together in prayer, including a bald priest in white with a gold necklace and a woman in a red sari. Silver trays hold pink flowers, red fruit and offering bowls at the foot of the throne. A shaved-headed man in front and a woman in red at the right are seated in devotion, and a microphone stands at the left. The scene is a pada puja, a devotional foot-worship ceremony.2010-09-16
