A photograph of a large seated audience at an ashram satsang hall, mostly women in white and cream sarees and saffron-orange clothing, many sitting cross-legged on mats with hands folded or palms pressed together. A woman in the foreground wears white with a bindi and a silver-grey head covering, hands joined in prayer. Others in front wear yellow-orange and white with red bindis and beaded necklaces. Behind them rows of people in white stand or sit, and a yellow floral arrangement and a low altar stand near the front. No speaker or a person candidate is clearly visible; the stage is out of focus and too far to identify anyone.

A large seated congregation in white clothing fills a hall, most women in white saris and salwar with orange or red shawls and stoles, many with long braided hair and bangles. They sit in rows on a carpet, attentive and facing forward toward an unseen stage at left, with stage lights and a backdrop of framed printed images visible at the top. The scene looks like a satsang or discourse audience, with the speaker not visible in frame.

Foreground: many women in white saris with gold borders and lanyards sit with palms joined or hands cupped, several with white and red forehead markings, eyes closed, appearing to chant. Behind them, rows of men seated in white dhotis, some bare-chested with sacred threads, and a few in orange or yellow garments. A canopy with red and white stripes and a palm tree sit in the background. No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible in this frame.
