A photograph of a temple ritual centred on a large deity murti adorned with a golden crown, gold and red garments, layered necklaces and an orange garland, set against a backdrop of red roses, yellow marigolds and green leaves. Three men in white dhotis and white shawls stand around it: one in front holds a golden vessel and a small silver implement toward the murti, while another at right, wearing a white turban and white and gold dress, holds a white flower garland and a stick-like object. Two younger men at left wear orange-red cloths, with white sacred markings on their arms and chest. Orange lamps glow in the background. The scene is an abhishekam or puja being performed for the deity murti.2012-04-23April 23 20132013-04-23April 23 20132013-04-23 +2 copiesApril 23 20132013-04-23 +2 copiesFebruary 02 20162016-02-02Photograph of a ritual abhishekam before an ornate deity murti decorated with a tall crown, gold jewellery and garlands of yellow marigolds and red flowers.
