July 01 20142014-07-01Close-up photograph of a seated figure in an orange-saffron garment draped with long white jasmine garlands and thick heaps of yellow marigold and pink petals, with red flowers over the lap. Gold-coloured ceremonial decorations. A hand rests on the garment and several hands with a wristwatch reach in from the right and top, one holding a flower offering. Scattered petals fall around the scene. Appears to be a garland-and-flower honouring scene at a ceremonial event.2007-12-25July 17 20082008-07-17A photograph of a man with long dark hair and a red bindi seated on a floral throne, almost entirely buried under a heaped mound of white jasmine flowers. Behind him is a backdrop of yellow, red, purple and green marigold and flower garlands arranged around a golden trident emblem. In the upper right, a hand in a white sleeve and gold wristwatch lifts a woven wicker basket, apparently pouring more petals down onto the seated figure. The setting resembles a garlanded throne ceremony with flower offerings showered on a central figure.2010-01-01A seated figure on an ornate gold throne is showered with rose petals and flower garlands. The person wears an orange saffron robe, a gold crown, and long white and red garlands, and is smiling while resting a hand on the petal-covered lap. Red tiger-striped cushions and a gold trident-shaped staff with a silver wall of decorative fans frame the throne. A gold relief panel behind shows a deity murti.2008-07-17October 30 20162016-10-30 +2 copiesJuly 18 20152015-07-18 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated figure in a reddish-maroon garment, eyes closed and smiling, receiving a heavy shower of pink rose petals during a pushpabhishekam. Two long white jasmine garlands hang across the chest, and gold necklaces, bangles and a ring adorn the body. A small vermilion mark is on the forehead. The seated figure rests on a red cushion before an ornate gold-embossed throne backdrop, with a tiger-striped cloth beneath. Blurred dark shapes at the bottom edge suggest a few onlookers. The figure's identity is not established by visible cues beyond a seated ceremonial pose.2016-05-24A smiling man with long dark hair and a red bindi sits surrounded by heaps of flower petals and garlands. Behind him is a gold-toned ornate backdrop framed by yellow marigold, white jasmine and magenta and red blossoms. A gold necklace is visible at his chest, and a white flower is tucked into his hair. Pink and red rose petals cover the foreground. Swamiji (probable) is presented here in the flower-adorned setting: a seated man with long swept-back hair, a bindi and a gold necklace receiving floral honour, matching the page's Swamiji reference.2010-01-01May 31 20172017-05-31 +2 copiesJuly 17 20082008-07-17A seated man in saffron-orange robes sits on a golden throne heaped with garlands of red, pink, orange and white flowers and loose jasmine petals. He wears layered gold necklaces, a rudraksha mala, a red bindi and a flower garland, and smiles while gathering his orange cloth. In the foreground a man in a white shirt bows low, pressing his forehead to the petal-covered seat, in a devotee's act of reverence. Marigolds and jasmine fill the lower frame.2012-07-03
