A bald man in a white t-shirt with red lettering and white dhoti-style trousers stands on a dirt path, touching the head of a small black calf tied with a rope and a garland around its neck. Outdoor photo at a palm-lined site: a person in a white shirt and orange cloth draped over the shoulder reaches toward a black-and-white cow decorated with a white cloth edged in red and blue fringe, a white flower garland with a yellow marigold at its neck, and a white-painted mark on its forehead. Beside the cow is a white stone shrine structure, and the ground is bare dirt under a cloudy sky with coconut palms behind.

A shaved-headed young man in an orange saffron shawl over white dhoti stands outdoors beside a black-and-white cow with painted forehead markings and a rope halter. He holds the rope in his hand and gazes down at the animal. Palm trees and a white stone shrine with ornate golden pillars stand behind him under a pale sky. The setting suggests a temple grounds visit. No a person candidate is distinguishable from appearance alone.

A close view of a black cow with white markings on its face, wearing a green saddle-cloth with a yellow marigold garland and small bells, being fed a piece of sugarcane. The feeder wears a saffron-orange draped cloth and a gold bangle, holding a brass plate of offerings in the upper frame. A second person in white clothing stands at the right edge. The cow's nose rope and the dirt ground are visible, with a green patch of grass in the background.

A young man in a white kurta with an orange shawl leans forward to feed a black-and-white cow decorated for ritual, its horns and forehead marked with vermilion, flower garlands around its neck and a white cloth draped over its back edged in red. Behind him, a woman in an orange shawl with a painted face smiles. On the right, another person in orange clothing and a rudraksha mala stands beside a white stepped structure, with palm trees and open ground in the background.

Night-time photo of a small brown calf being tended on a white-draped low platform. A seated man in orange sash and white dhoti holds the calf's head at left, while a figure in orange robes with long swept-back hair sits on the platform at right, one hand raised near the calf's head and the other at his chin. Yellow flower garlands lie on a striped cushion in front, and a patterned red and white carpet covers the floor. Behind them, other people in white and orange clothing stand, and a small child in green is visible at right near an oil lamp. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure in orange robes with long swept-back hair and saffron clothing is a candidate for Swamiji, based on appearance cues, though the identification is uncertain.

A photograph outdoors on dry, bare earth showing a black calf with a white forehead patch being fed by a person in a white dhoti and shirt with gold-bordered cloth. The calf wears a green harness with brass bells and a yellow marigold garland, and is led by a rope held by a person in white at right. Behind, a person in orange saffron robes stands barefoot holding a metal plate of offerings with fruit, and a cloth-wrapped coconut is visible. Green grass patches lie in the background. This appears to be a go-puja style gesture of feeding a cow during ritual observance. Visible people are three, partially shown.

Close photo of a black cow with a white blaze on its forehead, wearing a rope halter, being fed a piece of yellow fruit or sugarcane from a hand. The hand belongs to a woman in a white kurta with rolled sleeves and stacked bangles. Behind the cow, a person in an orange saffron garment stands on a dirt ground. A green painted post and yellow flowers appear at the edge. The cow is marked with red and vermilion on its head.

A photograph of an outdoor cattle yard at dusk beside a corrugated metal wall and trees. Several men in white dhotis and white kurtas, many wearing saffron-orange shawls draped over their shoulders, stand and walk among cattle. A large black cow with yellow flower garlands and a tied rope stands at right, and a small black calf with a yellow garland lies on the dirt in the foreground. A smaller brown calf stands near the center. The ground is bare sandy earth with scattered yellow petals, and a partially visible person with long dark hair in white clothes stands at the left edge. No identifiable individual is marked as a person; the figures are described by role and dress only.
