A smiling man with long swept-back dark hair, a small red tilak, saffron orange shawl and a rudraksha mala stands centre-left, receiving a silver tray of offerings. The tray holds red bananas, split coconut halves, pink and white flower petals and a small red-and-silver vessel. An older man with grey hair in a white dhoti with a gold border offers the tray, and another man in orange clothing stands at the right edge. Bystanders in orange and white clothes, one with glasses and a beard, crowd behind them under a corrugated roof. Gold bangles are visible on a wrist at the lower left.

Several men in white and yellow shirts stand nearby with hands folded in namaste, and a decorated hall with coloured pillars and orange banners forms the background.

A photograph of an outdoor ritual at a temple-like complex with a corrugated metal roof. In the foreground a man in saffron-orange robes, long swept-back hair, a gold necklace of large beads and a gold pendant, and white and red forehead markings reaches his right hand over a silver bowl of red offerings. Behind him stand a crowd of devotees, including a man in white with a yellow cloth and a woman in white with a yellow shawl holding a brass vessel. Another saffron-robed man stands at right. Tables with yellow flowers and banana leaves are at left. Prominent visible cues suggest a person as the saffron-robed figure in front, conducting the offering.

A photograph of a devotional welcome at an indoor hall. A young man in orange saffron robes with a long white and bronze-bell garland of white and pink flowers stands centre, hands clasped and smiling. Beside him an older man with a long white beard and orange robes stands with a green sash. Devotees in white shirts and cream dhotis press forward, one holding a woven basket of white cloth and flower petals, another with palms joined in namaskar, and a man in pink holds a tray of petals. Green bangles and a white wall with a blue-striped pattern are visible.

Another bald man in orange robes stands behind, and a man in a red and gold turban and a yellow-robed figure are at the edges. Bouquets of flowers and a saffron flag are visible, and a few onlookers stand in the background.
