December 31 20092009-12-31December 31 20092009-12-31A procession of devotees in orange and maroon robes walks along a red carpet toward a temple entrance, with an orange umbrella with fringed edges held overhead on the left and a tall flagstaff with a banner on the right. Several people hold palms together in greeting. A bald man in orange robes carries a rudraksha mala and an orange cloth bag, while a bare-shouldered devotee in maroon with a white flower garland stands with back to camera. A man in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala walks at right. Trees and a canopy frame the background, and a small pavilion with lamps stands near the temple.2014-08-31December 31 20092009-12-31Outdoor procession on a red cloth-covered path. A bearded man in a rust-brown robe with a long white and red flower garland and a rudraksha mala walks at the centre beneath a tall multicoloured silk canopy held on a long pole. Around him, men in saffron-orange dhotis with gold-bordered white dhotis carry brass pots and a conch-like vessel. Palm trees, a wire fence and a brick structure stand behind. The bearded man in the rust-brown robe is distinctively clothed with garland and mala, but his appearance alone does not establish identity, so no probable label is applied.2017-01-01December 31 20092009-12-31December 31 20092009-12-31December 31 20092009-12-31January 04 20152015-01-04December 31 20092009-12-31Photo of a procession walking down a red carpet under a white canopy with pink and striped fringe. A central man with a long-sleeved... wait, correction: a central man in a plain maroon-brown dhoti and sash wears a thick multicolour flower garland and gold ornaments, walking barefoot with hands at his sides. On his left, a man in an orange dhoti holds a tall yellow-handled ceremonial parasol with a multicoloured canopy. Lines of people in orange and saffron clothing stand on both sides with palms pressed together in greeting, including several girls wearing rudraksha malas. Behind them is a decorated altar area with a deity murti, a kalasha and lamps. Several men in white dhotis stand at the left edge.2017-09-02A procession walks along a red carpet under a white tent canopy. In the centre, a man in saffron-orange robes wears a turban and a marigold garland, with ornate gold necklaces and rudraksha beads, and walks with his hands clasped at chest height. To his left, a bearded elderly man in orange robes and a yellow-orange garland walks forward. Behind them, monks in orange and maroon robes carry ceremonial staffs and wear garlands, and green and red ornamental umbrellas are held overhead. A small pavilion with a dome-shaped roof stands in the background, and cameras are visible among the crowd.2016-04-23
