Night photograph of two golden processional chariots (ratha) on a paved outdoor ground, each with an ornate canopy decorated with multicoloured flower garlands and tassels. Each chariot carries a golden animal figure (a bull and a lion-like mount) and a deity murti under the canopy. A person in a white dhoti with orange-gold border and white upper cloth, long hair hanging loose, pulls one chariot by its shaft while holding a small lamp. Behind, another figure in orange robes with a rudraksha mala stands near the light. A lone assistant in a light shirt steadies the other chariot.2017-03-02Night photograph of two ornate golden processional carts (ratha) standing on a paved ground. Each cart carries a bull vahana: the left one white and silver, the right one gold, both draped with garlands in red, yellow, white and purple. Above them are arched canopies with gold and multicoloured borders, and a deity murti is seated within each arch. A single person in white traditional dhoti and shawl stands at the lower left, holding a lit lamp or torch aloft. Golden panels with relief figures decorate the cart bases. The scene is lit by floodlights, with blue fairy lights visible at the left.2017-03-02March 02 20172017-03-02March 02 20172017-03-02February 17 20152015-02-17Night procession on a dark road with strings of multicoloured fairy lights along the background. In the centre, a shirtless man in white dhoti with an orange-bordered cloth and shaved head holds a white plate, facing the palanquin. To the right, a second decorated cart with a multicoloured, embroidered canopy shelters another deity murti, and a woman in a white sari stands nearby. A lamp and a dark sky frame the scene, and a small signboard is visible at the right edge.2011-10-06November 20 20102010-11-20Night procession with illuminated decorated temple-style chariots (ratha) lit with string lights and golden ornamentation.
