A photograph of a wide, dusty dirt track with deep tyre tracks running through pale orange-brown sand. A row of thin white posts with wire fencing runs along the left side, behind which dry grass and green trees stand. Three small figures are visible near the fence, two standing and one crouching, with no clear ritual activity. Tall trees line the background under a pale blue sky, and a utility pole stands on the right. Scattered plastic litter lies on the sand in the foreground.

A chain-link fence with concrete posts lines both sides, with dense green trees and shrubs beyond the left fence. Three or four small figures stand or sit near the left fence line, far in the distance. A thin utility pole and a blue sky with wispy clouds complete the scene.2010-01-02 +2 copiesDecember 01 20092009-12-01A bare, tyre-marked sandy plot of land stretches across the foreground toward a newly erected post-and-wire fence running along the far side. Behind the fence stand green trees and tall dry grass under a pale blue sky. Three or four people stand or crouch near the fence line at the right, partly hidden by distance and vegetation. A small plastic bag lies on the sand near the lower right edge. The scene appears to show site preparation at an ashram property rather than a ceremony.2010-01-02 +2 copiesA dusty red-earth construction site under a pale blue sky with scattered clouds. Three young trees with full green canopies stand across the dirt ground, with utility poles and a low white boundary wall in the distance. No event activity is visible.2016-10-26 +1 copiesOctober 24 20062006-10-24A dusty orange-red dirt site under a pale blue sky, with excavated trenches and tire tracks in the foreground. Several green trees stand across the open ground, with utility poles and a low pale wall behind them. Four or so men in light shirts and dark trousers stand near the trees, and one man beside a red motorcycle. The scene reads as early-stage construction work at the site.2006-11-16A photograph of a flat, dry, grassy open field with a shallow dug trench running through the foreground and a row of wooden stakes and fence posts along the left and right edges. Trees and palms line the horizon under a pale, hazy sky. Four people walk across the field: a woman in a bright orange sari on the left, a man in a red and black checked shirt, and two men in white dhoti and kurta clothing, one with an orange shawl over his shoulder. The group appears to be surveying the land.2009-02-15November 16 20062006-11-16A photograph of a fenced, flat dirt plot of land in a rural setting. Concrete posts painted with purple bands line a barbed-wire fence running diagonally across the frame toward a distant treeline of palms and shrubs. A small orange-and-white flag flies on a pole at the far side of the plot, and a few small markers stand on the cleared ground. Grass and scrub fill the foreground, with a low palm sapling at left and loose dirt clods near the fence base. The sky is pale with scattered clouds. No people are visible.
