In the foreground a man in an all-white kurta with a dark bead mala and a small pendant walks across a shallow pit of glowing-grey embers and ash. Around the pit, men and women in white ritual clothing stand barefoot on the packed earth; several wear rudraksha malas and ID badges, and one man on the right holds a long wooden pole used to hold back the crowd. A man in the background wears an orange-red shawl and a white dhoti with a yellow border, and a drummer with a red drum stands behind him.2005-12-31December 29 20092009-12-29September 26 20162016-09-26December 15 20062006-12-15January 08 20122012-01-08December 30 20092009-12-30
