In the centre, a young woman with long dark hair in a white kurta holds a small lit oil lamp in one hand and a brass bell or small object in the other, looking forward attentively. To her right, an older woman with a red bindi and bangles presses her palms together in anjali. Younger girls in maroon and red sarees with white forehead markings sit in front, and some hold lamps.
