September 24 20112011-09-24Photo of an indoor satsang or devotional gathering. A man in a cream turban, orange-and-gold striped shawl and layered beaded necklaces stands centre-right, smiling and holding a small white paper. Several devotees surround him: a woman in a bright orange blouse with a red bindi, a woman in a black patterned top with a name badge, a woman in a green and gold sari with folded hands, and a woman in a white head covering. A man in an orange shawl stands at right, with an open wooden box of items beside him. Left foreground shows a woman with hands pressed together in namaskar. Visible wall portraits and a warm interior setting.2012-04-08July 14 20112011-07-14A seated man in orange-saffron robes with a gold ornate necklace and a rudraksha-style red-and-gold head band, a red tilak mark on his forehead and white vibhuti on his arms, holds a dark framed picture or plaque while smiling and looking down at it. Behind a gold throne-like seat with a golden back panel, a group of people stand close; a standing man in an orange robe with a gold chain and bald vibhuti-marked head looks on, and men and women in white clothes, some with rudraksha malas and papers in hand, crowd around. A red cushioned box sits nearby on the floor.2012-05-12 +1 copiesIndoor event in a hall with a white screen and maroon curtain behind. A person in an orange turban and saffron-orange shawl, wearing layered red and white marigold garlands, a gold ornate necklace and gold bangles, extends a hand to a devotee and holds a folded white paper while standing at a tray with offerings. Several devotees in white and cream clothing stand in a line with palms joined in prayer, one young man in glasses wears a maroon top with rudraksha-style beads. A monk in orange robes and glasses stands at the right edge. The appearance of the turbaned central figure is consistent with the a person cues of orange turban, garlands and ornate gold necklace, so this is an in_person candidate, though the face is not used for identification.2011-12-18 +1 copiesIndoor scene in a bright corridor-like hall during a devotional offering. A man with long swept-back dark hair wears a green and gold silk shawl with a rudraksha mala and gold chain, holding a small book and receiving something with cupped hands while a woman in a magenta sari and gold bangles smiles and gestures beside him. A shaved-headed priest in an orange saffron cloth with a maroon border stands in the foreground, holding a basket of flowers and offerings. Other devotees, including a bespectacled man and an older woman in purple, stand nearby.2011-11-01A photograph inside a red-draped tent at a Kumbh Mela camp. Visitors in casual clothes lean forward to receive a printed card from a saffron-robed sannyasi with long hair and a white-and-pink flower garland; his back is to the camera and his face is not visible. Two women in a teal top and a pink kurta, and a man in a light blue striped shirt with red-framed glasses, stand before him. Behind them, saffron-robed attendants with white tripundra markings and rudraksha malas sit or stand, a cameraman films on a tripod, and a man in white holds a red cloth. Gold and white garlands and bangles are visible, and the setting suggests a VIP visit to the camp.2016-04-27December 17 20112011-12-17November 17 20092009-11-17 +1 copiesNovember 16 20112011-11-16A photograph of a long-haired man in an orange saffron garment with a long rudraksha mala draped across his chest, holding a small white card and reading it while standing in a hall.
