Photograph inside a long stone colonnade of a temple, with rows of carved pillars topped by ornate brackets and lion-like corbels receding into the distance. A group of people walks down the central aisle toward a bright opening at the far end, with several figures in saffron-orange robes and others in white dhotis and shirts. In the foreground at right, a man in a white dhoti and white kurta wears an orange sash over his shoulder and carries a camera on a small rig, facing away from the viewer. The dim, dusty floor and shadowed walls frame the procession-like walk through the hall.2009-07-13September 18 20062006-09-18A dimly lit stone temple interior with carved pillars and an ornate doorway strung with a line of electric lights. Several men in white dhotis, some bare-chested with yellow-bordered cloths, stand close together in the foreground, a few with rudraksha-style neck cords. Behind them a woman in a teal and green sari and other people in white shirts gather near a garlanded pillar. Hanging flower garlands and a bright overhead bulb light the scene. No identifiable a person figure is clearly visible.2010-12-29Photograph of a long stone colonnade inside a South Indian temple, with carved pillars and brackets along both sides and a dark ornate ceiling above.
