Outdoor street scene in Tiruvannamalai beside a large shade tree and a stone gateway. A crowd of devotees, mostly men and women in white ritual clothes, gathers closely around a central group. A woman in a red sleeveless top with a flower in her hair stands in the foreground facing them. A man in an orange shirt holds a video camera near parked cars. A man on the right presses his palms together in greeting. No individual can be confidently identified as a person from appearance here, so the central figures are described by role only.

A large crowd of devotees stands on a street, many with palms pressed together in anjali. In the centre a man in a white checked shirt and cream dhoti stands with hands raised in namaskar, beside a woman in a cream sari with a dark beaded necklace. Around them are women in orange, red, pink and blue saris, men in white shirts and dhotis, and an elderly man with glasses in a pink checked shirt in the foreground. A parked white car and a small vehicle line the road behind the crowd.

A crowd of devotees presses around a silver Toyota SUV on a sunlit roadside, many reaching toward the windows and some pressing their palms together in greeting. Rose petals scatter across the bonnet and road in front. Inside the vehicle, a figure in orange-saffron robes sits in the driver's seat, appearing to wave or gesture toward the people outside. Women wear saris in bright colours including pink, green and yellow, and men wear white shirts. A tree-lined road and roadside buildings with a yellow wall form the background.

A dense crowd of men and women gathers outdoors on a street in front of a building with a tree and a silver minivan parked behind them. Many men wear white shirts and white dhotis or trousers, some with lanyards, while women wear sarees in pink, red, mustard and blue. A woman in the foreground with folded hands smiles in greeting, and a figure in an orange top holds a video camera at right. A woman in a red top stands at lower right. The scene suggests a welcome or darshan visit, with people pressing forward toward someone not clearly visible.

A photograph of a street crowd of devotees standing with palms pressed together in namaskar, apparently watching a procession. Many women wear saris in teal, orange, yellow, pink and white with bindis, and several men wear shirts and dhotis. Children stand among them, and a woman in a pink sari at lower left holds a small camcorder. Parked vehicles, a red car and a motorbike, and a white-walled house with a gate appear behind the crowd. The image is a candid street scene with no visible a person candidate.

A photograph of a residential street lined with shade trees and parked white vintage cars. A large group of women in colourful saris stands in the road, holding offering plates and flower bouquets, while men in white dhotis and shirts stand on the sidewalks. A man in a white shirt holds a camera at the centre. Several women in orange, red, pink and green saris carry brass plates and a bouquet of white and red flowers. No one in the scene is identified as a person.

A photograph of a street-side welcome beside a white car. A woman in an orange sari with a long white and multicoloured garland stands with hands folded in namaskar. Around her, a man in white dhoti and shirt with an orange shawl bends forward, and a young man in orange robes kneels at the car door. Other devotees in white and saffron clothing and a woman in a yellow and pink sari stand nearby, several with hands joined, and a child sits on the ground in pink. Some hold small offerings and flowers. The scene is an outdoor devotional greeting on a dusty road in front of a building.

Outdoor photograph of a welcoming procession on a dirt road beside a row of leafy trees and a white van. A man in an all-white kurta and dhoti stands at left with his arm outstretched toward a line of devotees. Men in white shirts and dhotis press palms together in greeting. Women in white and cream saris with red-bordered cloth, one holding a brass plate of bananas, stand in a receiving line, one wearing a floral garland. A striped canopy with orange flags shades the right side. Yellow-shawled figures and a yellow bus appear in the background. No identifiable a person is visible; the central figure is a devotee in white.

Outdoor roadside photograph of a large crowd of devotees dressed in white shirts and white dhotis or trousers, many with saffron-orange flags raised and held aloft. A man in the foreground at centre folds his hands in a namaste gesture, and a grey-haired man with glasses stands at lower left. A tall tree, palms, pink flowering plants in the right foreground, and a parked truck and vehicles line the road behind them. No single person is clearly identifiable as a sannyasi or leader; the group appears to be dispersing or moving along the roadside.

Outdoor photo on a dusty dirt road beside a white bus with a red-bordered step. A man in white dhoti and shirt stands at the bus door, with others in white clothes nearby. In the center, a man in white dhoti and shirt holds a brass tray with white flowers, red blooms and green leaves, offering it to a woman in a dark green sari with orange border. Beside her, a woman in a yellow-orange sari presses her palms together in greeting. A young boy in a checked shirt stands in front, and men in colourful shirts watch. Banana plants with orange flower strands and a white building are behind them. The scene looks like a welcome with a pooja tray on arrival.

Outdoor photo of a large crowd seated and standing beneath bare, spreading trees at an open dusty ground during an evening event. Many devotees press palms together in anjali mudra, most wearing white clothing; some women wear pink, green and red saris and bindi, and a few men wear saffron or orange cloth. A bald man in white at the centre-right appears to be a priest or devotee; he is not clearly identifiable. Parked trucks and a yellow vehicle sit at the right edge, with low buildings and trees behind. Many people are present; the count of visible individuals is well over twenty.
