August 29 20062006-08-29August 29 20062006-08-29A photograph of an indoor gathering in which a long-haired figure in an orange robe presses both palms to the face of a seated man in a white kurta with a brown rudraksha mala. The robed figure has long black hair and a bare arm extended, and the seated man's eyes are closed as he receives the blessing. Behind them a man in an orange shawl over white clothing stands with a rudraksha mala, and further back several people in white clothes stand with hands folded in prayer. A pale carpeted hall and a table with small items are visible at right. The scene appears to be a blessing or darshan moment. Only the robed figure's appearance does not clearly establish identity, so the candidate is unsure.2006-08-29A seated man with grey hair and a moustache, wearing a white kurta, an orange shawl, and a long rudraksha mala with a pendant, has his eyes closed while a woman in an orange garment and a white flower garland touches his forehead with her right hand. His own hands are raised palms outward. Behind them, other people in orange and white clothing sit on a green mat in a dim hall, with equipment and cables visible at the back. The gesture appears to be a blessing or initiation moment.2006-06-04A photograph of a bald man in a white shirt with long rudraksha malas and a medallion, eyes closed, having his forehead touched by a long-haired person in a saffron/orange robe with a swept-back dark mane. Behind them a man in orange shawl and white clothes holds a small stick, and a person in white stands at the edge. A white and green flower arrangement and a yellow cloth are at right. Partial figures at the top edge are visible.2006-08-29August 29 20062006-08-29August 29 20062006-08-29A photograph of two men in a close, ritual-style gesture in front of a dark red velvet curtain and a white floor. On the left, an older man with grey hair wears a white collarless kurta and a dark beaded mala, eyes closed, his palms raised outward while another person touches his forehead. On the right, a man with long, swept-back dark hair and a small red bindi wears an orange saffron robe and a long beaded necklace of rudraksha-style beads, extending his right arm to touch the older man's brow. A white electric fan stands at the left edge. The gesture resembles a blessing or transmission of energy. The right-hand figure has long hair, saffron robes and ornate beads, so the appearance-based candidate is probable, though the image is not decisive enough to confirm identity.2007-01-27A photograph of a seated devotee in a white t-shirt and a rudraksha mala, eyes closed, palms pressed together before his chest. A man in an orange shawl with long, swept-back dark hair and a red mark on his forehead touches the devotee's brow with his right hand, while a third person in orange and white stands behind them. Behind them are a potted plant, a red cushion and a hall with carpet. A printed copyright and source notice overlays the lower right, which is not transcribed.2006-08-29December 10 20092009-12-10A photograph of an indoor programme session in a wood-panelled hall with a red curtain. In the foreground, a man with short grey hair in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala raises his right palm in a blessing or greeting gesture while touching the forehead of a seated person in orange-red clothing with a rudraksha mala, gold hoop earrings and an orange shawl. The seated person, who has a crown-like head arrangement and swept-back hair, holds a folded paper in one hand. Behind them a man in a teal shirt stands with folded arms, and at the left edge a few seated people sit on mats. A projector screen glows at the top left. Visible people: about four.2012-07-01June 04 20062006-06-04
