2003 -Glimpses From Various ProgramsJuly 07 20022002-07-07 +1 copiesClose-up photo of a pair of bare feet resting on wooden sandals decorated with flower petals. The feet bear turmeric and kumkum markings and sit on a striped cloth with pink, red and gold bands. Pink and white petals, rose buds and a small green fruit are scattered over the sandals and feet. At the top right, a garland of red roses, orange marigolds and green leaves hangs near an orange-robed lap. The setting suggests a devotional foot-worship (padapuja) offering, though no face is visible. +1 copiesClose-up photo of a pair of bare feet standing on a folded beige and red cloth mat, the soles and toes smeared with white and yellow paste. The feet are wearing silver-toned padukas or sandals with a raised knob between the toes, and are decorated with red roses, white jasmine blossoms and scattered petals. Orange saffron robes are visible at the top edge of the frame, and the stone floor is grey. The feet are being honoured in a padapuja style ritual with flowers and paste, though no face is shown and no person can be identified.2002 - Glimpses From Various Programs2002-01-01 +2 copiesNovember 21 20132013-11-21 +1 copiesA photograph of a pair of bare feet resting in a polished silver plate filled with milk and scattered pink and white flower petals, a padapuja-style foot washing. The feet wear orange cloth at the ankles, and a hand with a ring and a bangle holds the plate's edge while a pink silk cloth with gold border lies beneath. Red and white rose petals and yellow flower petals are scattered over the plate, consistent with a padapuja foot-worship ritual. Only a portion of an orange-robed person and a white-clad attendant are visible at the frame's edges.June 28 20142014-06-28 +1 copiesA photograph of a padapuja ritual in which devotees wash and honour a pair of bare feet resting on a silver tray filled with red and white flower petals and a small golden stand. Several hands are visible: one wearing a gold ring and bangles, another with a beaded bracelet, and others offering petals or water. A pink and gold brocade cloth lies beneath the tray, and a gold vessel sits at the left edge beside a leopard-print cushion. The photograph shows hands and feet only, with the person's face outside the frame.Close photo of a bare foot resting on a gold-toned ritual tray scattered with white plumeria flowers and pink and red roses. A pair of bare feet in an orange garment with gold border stands on the tray, with the toes touching the flowers.
