Several men and women sit on chairs and on a blue mat, many with bare upper bodies and white dhotis, some wearing face masks, with brass plates of offerings, flowers, lamps and small cups in front of them. Framed photographs hang on the gold-painted wall. At the right, a man in white dhoti and shawl sits on an ornate throne-like seat near a row of other seated men in white and maroon.

Devotees sit on the floor of a hall for a puja at a temple, with two priests in saffron-orange and white seated before a brass lamp and offerings. Several women in saris of purple, green, blue and pink sit in rows, some holding brass plates of fruit and flowers. A row of orange-robed figures and a shivalinga-style stone form stand against the back wall beneath framed photographs. An orange and gold cloth covers a decorated altar on the left with garlands, and oil lamps burn on the floor. A man in a white dhoti sits near the centre, and a standing woman in white appears at the rear.

A temple room with a row of black shivalinga-style stone lingams in front of a tan cinder-block wall, with a Nandi bull statue in the lower left foreground and an orange flag on a pole. A shirtless man in a white dhoti stands at a central altar table covered with a gold cloth, brass plates, fruit, limes and flowers. Nearby a man in a red shirt and a woman in a blue top are seated, and a woman in a gold-bordered white sari holds a plate on the right. Seated devotees, some wearing face masks, sit on the left side of the room on white mats, and a woman in white reads from a paper in the foreground. The scene appears to be a puja or abhishekam ritual.
