A photograph of a large crowd gathered in a stepped pool, with many people standing waist-deep in water and raising their hands. In the centre, an ornate throne-like seat decorated with garlands of yellow and orange marigolds, red and pink flowers and banana-leaf or palm-frond accents sits on an orange-draped platform. A man seated on the throne wears an orange robe and a white-and-red garland, and a trident stands on either side. An attendant in orange clothing kneels beside the platform. Many participants wear white clothes, and red-banded tiered steps and palm trees frame the scene.

A figure in saffron-orange robes sits enthroned on a gold and red seat beneath a yellow canopy, decorated with garlands and flower arrangements. Around him, men in white dhotis and white shirts with yellow sashes stand in the water, while one man in orange robes and another in a red-and-white garment stand nearby. Some women in white saris and children stand at the right edge, and a few onlookers watch from the stands on the left. The throne is festooned with marigolds and white floral strings, consistent with a ritual procession or abhishekam-style water ceremony.2010-10-17A photograph of a large crowd wading in a stepped water tank, with a central golden throne decorated with yellow and orange marigold garlands, leaves and red flowers. A man with long dark hair sits on the throne wearing a saffron-orange robe and a white and red flower garland; an attendant in an orange robe stands at the left holding a golden trident-topped staff, and another orange-robed attendant is seated at the right. Many people in white clothing hold conch shells aloft in the water, and a golden trident staff rises at the front. Behind them stone steps and a red-painted wall line the tank, with a few people in white and red clothing nearby. The scene appears to be a ceremonial dip at the sacred waters with the throne carried into the water.2010-01-02 +1 copiesJanuary 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesA photograph of a large crowd bathing in a stepped sacred pool, with water fountains spraying at left. The raft is heaped with garlands of yellow, orange, purple and pink flowers. Many people in white or yellow clothing stand in the water, some holding hands in a line, while others watch from red steps. A figure in an orange robe stands in the water near the raft, and another person in orange stands on the steps. Around thirty to forty people are visible, so the count is in the 21-100 range.2010-07-26January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesA large crowd gathers in water at a tiered red stone ghat during a holy dip. At the centre, a seated man on an ornate golden throne wears an orange garment, a white flower garland and a red-beaded rudraksha mala, with his hands resting on his lap. The throne is heavily decorated with marigolds, roses, palm fronds and garlands in orange, yellow and purple. Two golden trident-topped staffs flank the platform. Men in orange robes and white dhotis stand on the platform and hold up a conch shell and brass vessels. Behind, people in white and saffron clothes stand or sit on the steps, and a man in an orange shirt sits on the upper steps. The scene is an in-person ritual procession in water, not a printed image. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long dark hair, orange clothing and rudraksha mala, and the page identifies him as present.2010-01-02 +1 copies
