Photograph of a large crowd bathing in a wide outdoor pool at sunset, with many people in white clothes wading and swimming in rippling water. In the centre, a tall black Shiva lingam stands on a raised platform draped with yellow and orange garlands, with a cloth canopy and floral decorations. Tiered red stands on the left and right are lined with onlookers in white. Several people are visible on the stands and the water's edge, and the scene is lit by a pale evening sky. Individual faces are too small to identify, and no one can be confidently identified as a person.
