October 22 20152015-10-22 +1 copiesA photograph of a satsang on a golden ornate throne. On the left, a seated man in a rust-orange turban and orange-saffron robe with a white and red flower garland and a gold-toned necklace gestures with his right hand while speaking. On the right, a sculpted deity murti is seated on a golden throne decorated with a tall crown, a purple and gold silk drape and a long white flower garland, flanked by two smaller ornately dressed figures in orange and gold. A brass oil lamp stands between the speaker and the murti, and a red-and-gold backdrop frames the stage. Appearance-based label: the seated speaker shows several candidate cues (turban, saffron robe, garlands) but identity is uncertain.2015-10-14A photograph of a man standing in the centre with both palms raised in greeting, wearing a maroon-and-gold turban with a white feather, a rudraksha-style necklace, and a white flower garland over an orange-and-maroon cloth. Behind him sits a deity murti in a richly embroidered red and gold sari with a gold crown and layered necklaces, seated on a gold throne beside an empty gold throne with maroon cushions and a gold parasol canopy. A painted backdrop shows a temple gopuram, palm trees and a sunset, with brass lamps at the right edge. Two people are visible, the standing man and no other living figure beyond the murti.2015-10-22November 21 20152015-11-21A person stands on a stage in front of an ornate gold throne with a tiger-skin cloth draped over its seat, arms raised above the head with palms together in a greeting gesture. They wear a rust-brown sannyasi-style wrap with gold-yellow borders, a yellow flower garland, a rudraksha mala and a brown head wrap. Behind the throne a painted backdrop shows a river scene with a deity figure holding a trident and a rudraksha-adorned figure. A gold carved pillar stands to the right beside red drapery and a small wooden side table with a purple cloth sits at the lower left.2015-10-25A man stands on a raised golden platform before a gilded throne flanked by golden lion-form armrests and a tiger-striped cloth. He wears a rust-orange turban with a small red-and-gold ornament, a red bindi, a gold ceremonial necklace over a rudraksha mala, and rust-orange robes with gold borders. He has his palms pressed together in a namaste gesture and is smiling. Above him hangs an ornate gold canopy with tiered drops, and a dark maroon curtain backs the scene. Swamiji (probable): the orange turban, layered rudraksha and gold necklaces, and rust-orange robes with gold border are the cues for this label, but the face is not used for identification.2015-11-21August 28 20152015-08-28September 10 20152015-09-10 +3 copiesA photograph of a standing man in a rust-brown turban and matching rust-brown robes with gold borders, wearing a gold pendant necklace, a rudraksha-style brown bead mala and a long red-pink flower garland. He raises both palms in a blessing gesture on a stage. Behind him sits a gold-framed throne decorated with yellow and red flower garlands and a richly ornamented deity murti in a green and gold garment. A pink sequined cloth covers the platform.
