Several women in front wear white or pale vertical tilaka marks on their foreheads and close their eyes, some with hands folded or raised in prayer. Behind them, rows of people in white saris and white clothes sit and listen. A red-and-gold draped figure at the front centre holds offerings near a brass plate. Pale orange and maroon shawls and rudraksha beads are prominent throughout the scene. No figure in this image is clearly identifiable as a person by the required cues, so the central seated devotee is described by role only.2013-10-13September 12 20132013-09-12A seated group of women and girls in an indoor hall during a ritual or satsang.
