A photograph of a holy dip at a sacred tank. On the left, a large black Shiva lingam with a flower garland of orange, yellow and red marigolds rises from a black yoni-pitha base, with water spraying from its top. In the water in front, a crowd of devotees, many in white clothes, wade and bathe. At the centre, a decorated palanquin draped with marigold garlands and yellow cloth sits in the water, with a seated figure in saffron-orange robes and a red-and-gold garment at its centre. A striped parasol stands to the right. On the red-tiered steps, several men in white dhotis and shirts stand and sit, and an onlooker in white stands on the upper right. Behind is a corrugated metal fence.
