Outdoor photo at a stepped sacred tank with a large crowd bathing in water. A figure in orange robes and a rudraksha-style garland sits on an ornate golden throne-like seat decorated with marigolds, roses and green leaves, under a multicoloured parasol. An attendant in orange stands at the right holding a long golden staff, and another attendant in orange holds a ceremonial fan at the left. Many devotees in white clothes and yellow-gold shawls stand waist-deep in the water, some lifting brass vessels. A trident is set in front of the seat. Stone pillars and white-clad people stand on the steps behind.

A seated figure in orange-saffron robes and a red and orange floral garland sits on a gold throne beneath a floral arch and a fringed canopy, with a small deity murti decorated with white flowers placed at the base of the throne. Devotees in white ritual cloth stand waist-deep in water around the throne, and women in saffron and red saris stand along the right side. The figure's features are not clear enough for a confident identification. Several people are visible in the water and on the steps, and the scene reads as a procession or pattabishekam-style honouring in water.2010-10-17January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesOutdoor photo of a holy dip at a stepped stone tank with tiered red steps lined by black lingam-shaped pillars. A figure with long dark hair in saffron/orange robes and a red-and-orange garland sits on a gold-and-red throne under a floral-decorated arch and canopy on a raised orange platform. Around the platform, many men stand waist-deep in water, mostly in white dhotis and white garments, some with yellow sashes, some bare-chested, a few in orange robes. Marigold and red flower garlands decorate the platform and railings. The seated figure has long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a ceremonial garland, matching the page's Swamiji cues, so this is a probable appearance-based identification of a seated figure on a throne in an in-person setting. Devotees splash and bathe in the water around the platform.2010-10-17
