A seated figure in an orange robe and red-and-white garland sits on a red throne-like seat before the lingam, with a red-robed attendant kneeling beside. Dense crowds of devotees wade in the water, many in white clothes with yellow scarves, some in orange and red. Water spouts from the sides of the basin and a few people stand along the steps.
